TN Campus Civic Summits
Sprout Impact facilities the annual summits for the Tennessee Campus Democracy Network. The civic summits host public, private universities, and community colleges that commit to creating institutional civic engagement plans for their campus and work with national best practices to support their work. In 2018, the summit served 13 campuses; in 2019, two regional summits hosted 19 campuses; and by 2020, three regional summits served 29 campuses. Overall, the summits impacted an estimated 200,000 undergraduate and graduate Tennessee students by participating campuses through institutional frameworks, have an impact on nonpartisan student voting and civic literacy.
